SPIKE Studio’s 2024 Summer Academy is back at Georgia Tech College of Design for two Academies!

Academy A – June 10 – 14 

Academy B – June 17 – 21

Last year’s SPIKE Studio Academy experience explored the true definition of family within the greater community in post COVID world. The project elements and construction explored and engaged the students on ideas and memories of home, human interaction. Students designed a structure on their own property that could be private or inclusive of their extended community. Personal space as well as the community space was explored by the students.

Our students also had the opportunity to spend a day at the architecture office of Perkins and Will Atlanta in order to understand what a day in the life of an architect can be like. In addition, they received private campus tours and construction site visits.

Registration fee: $200, includes architecture / design supplies, program notebook and mailing. Registration is open to students from rising 9th to 12th grades. Registration is limited to 40 Students (20 per academy). Student registration scholarships available based on financial need and upon request.
